Apple’s App Store has a new feature to get a game onto the store.
The first time the feature is enabled on the store is with a single game title, and this time it’s a free-to-play MMO called The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.
The game is free-play for now, but that doesn’t mean it won’t get a few new features in the future.
In a new update, The Elder Scroll Online: The Art of Tamriel, developer Bethesda Softworks revealed that players can now add in a free “in-game currency” to their account.
This “currency” can be used to buy game upgrades, which will increase the player’s character stats.
The currency is limited to 10,000 points, and the developer says it will eventually be able to unlock a new currency type.
Here’s a look at the currency that will be in the game, which you can see in action in the video above.
Players can use the currency to buy a bunch of items, including mounts and armor, and also “taunt” enemies to help your character in battle.
Players will also be able customize their character by having a pet, adding new armor pieces, and changing their race.
The game also has new crafting stations that can be accessed by clicking the “More” icon at the top of the screen.
Players who have already purchased The Elder Thrones: Tam and are interested in The Art Of Tamriel can continue to do so through an app store update.
The app will update to feature The Art and The Elder Kingdoms: Tam.
Players with existing The Elder Tribes: Tam DLC will also have access to The Art.
