Hawaii Digital Marketing: What You Need to Know

The Hawaiian Digital Marketing Association (HDMA) recently held a panel discussion in Honolulu to help attendees learn about the state’s digital marketing landscape.

HDMA president and CEO Joe McBride spoke about how the state is working to expand the digital market to attract and retain digital professionals.

He shared some of the challenges that digital marketers are facing and outlined some of his thoughts on the state of the industry.

“I think we are very fortunate to be able to have a strong digital presence,” McBride said.

“But our digital presence has been very limited in Hawaii.

We have a very small and small number of companies that actually do have a real impact on the lives of our citizens.”

McBride said the HDMA is working on expanding the digital presence in Hawaii and hopes to reach out to other states to expand their digital presence.

He added that Hawaii has some of America’s best technology and talent in its digital workforce, which is why he believes that Hawaii is a great place to start the digital marketing ecosystem.

“The fact that Hawaii does have some of our best talent and our top talent, we think is the best way to start that ecosystem,” McBride said.

“What we need to do is start building that ecosystem and to start looking for opportunities to bring in talent that will be able and willing to help us in the digital realm,” he added.

“We are fortunate in Hawaii that we have some really, really talented people in that industry.

They’re doing some really great work.”

McBride noted that there is a huge opportunity for digital marketers in Hawaii to be in front of consumers.

“I think it’s the best place in the country to start,” he said.

“[Hawaii is] a very different economy than the rest of the U.S. and it’s really a different place for people to be.”

The HDMA also discussed the importance of keeping up with the digital world.

“We are not doing well in the U: We are a little behind in terms of technology and in terms for the way that we’re building a digital footprint,” Mc Bride said about Hawaii’s digital footprint.

“So I think it is important to make sure that you’re constantly updating and expanding that.”

The Hawaiian Digital Advertising Association (HDAA) also spoke at the conference and shared its vision for the future of digital advertising.

HDAA president and chief executive officer Joe McQueen said that the organization is committed to growing the digital advertising industry and that they will continue to help Hawaii attract and hire more digital professionals through its digital advertising efforts.

McQueen said the group will continue its work to improve the state, while also trying to increase the number of digital jobs in the state.

“What we want to do for the next three years is make sure we have the infrastructure in place to attract people that are able to do that, to hire them in the industry and to retain them in that position,” McQueen explained.

“It’s a long-term goal, but we want the next couple years to be a success for us.”

The Hawaii Digital Advertising Alliance is a partnership between the Hawaii Advertising Agency and the Hawaii Association of State Advertising Agencies (HAASAA).HDA is an industry association for digital advertising, and the HAASAA is an advertising agency.
