Dayton, Ohio (AP) A new survey by Digital Marketing Summit shows that digital marketing has gained ground in Dayton, the birthplace of the social media revolution.
The Dayton Marketing Institute’s 2016 digital marketing rankings have Dayton at No. 1 in digital marketing activity, up from No. 7 last year.
The report also found that Dayton’s digital market share is now about 7 percent, up three points from the previous year.
Digital marketing is increasingly recognized as a key business tool in the city’s economy and community, the report found.
The report says that Dayton was ranked No. 5 among the 50 largest cities in the country by Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) in 2016.
It is the third-largest market in the United States by total online advertising revenue, behind only Nashville, Tenn., and Las Vegas.
Dayton is also No. 11 in the ranking of the largest cities by online advertising spend.
The state also has a strong digital presence, according to the report.
Digital advertising in the state grew at a rate of more than 14 percent from 2015 to 2016.
Digital ad spend was up 14 percent and digital advertising was up 20 percent in the metro area, the study found.
Digital is the fastest-growing digital market in Dayton.
Digital advertising spending is growing faster than the overall population.
According to the study, digital advertising in Dayton grew at 8.6 percent a year between 2015 and 2016.
The average spend grew more than 9 percent a day.
The city is the largest in the nation with more than 4,000 businesses and more than 30,000 residents.
The number of people using digital technology has grown at a pace of almost 7 percent per year over the past four years, according the report, and the city is leading the nation in digital adoption.
Dayton also has the third highest concentration of employers with digital employees, according data from Digital Marketing Alliance.
Digital marketing is growing in a way that has made it more accessible to people of all ages and abilities.
Dayton’s ranking among the top five digital markets in the USA has more than doubled since 2015.

In Dayton, we are seeing more and more businesses and organizations become digital-driven businesses, which is an opportunity for us to continue to grow,” he says.
Digital Marketing Summit’s research was based on a survey of 1,200 people across the country who said they were considering using digital marketing.
It was released on Monday and is the fourth annual Digital Marketing Study.
The survey has been conducted by Digital marketing company PwC and conducted by the Digital Marketing Association, a trade group representing digital marketers and advertising experts.
